Moser’s Art & Photography
Award winning artist Sandy Moser has been painting for many years and her focus is painting wildlife art. She has won many awards and continues to challenge herself to paint new subjects. Her work has been featured in the “Richeson 75 Online Animals, Birds, and Wildlife Competition 2013, 2012 and 2011 books. Sandy is being featured in the Visual Language Magazine for May 2014.
Sandy’s work has been featured in many selected group shows within the province. She is currently a member and founding president of the Seacoast Trail Arts Association and is a member of Visual Arts of Nova Scotia and Friends of Taylor Head Park Society. Sandy’s paintings are now in private collections in many parts of Canada, the United States, Europe and New Zealand.

Robert has been taking landscape and seascape photos for many years and has recently focused on nature and wildlife photography. Living on the Eastern Shore of Nova Scotia has given him many opportunities to photograph different species of birds and animals. Robert belongs to the Truro Image Makers Photography Club and has won numerous first, second and third place awards in their photo contests over the past ten years. He also belongs to the Photo Guild of Nova Scotia, the Nova Scotia Bird Society, Friends of Taylor Head Park Society and the Seacoast Trail Arts Association. Robert continues to teach photo workshops for Parks and Recreation (Sheet Harbour) and also does wedding photography and family portraits.

East River Campground
East River Lodge Campground is located on the river in Sheet Harbour, along the Eastern Shore region of Nova Scotia, offering fun-filled activities for the whole family. The Eastern Shore's inlets, rocky outcrops, islands, salt marshes, and nearly endless beaches create a prime condition for sea kayaking and other coastal activities.
We are less than an hour's drive to many of Nova Scotia's beautiful beaches, including Martinique Beach, Nova Scotia's longest sand beach and Clam Harbour Beach near Lake Charlotte that is one of the province's most beautiful and popular beaches. You are also within a 10-minute drive from Taylor Head Provincial Park and Beach, where you can take a day trip to enjoy a picnic, walk the boardwalk out to the beach areas, or challenge yourself to a hike on one of the several hiking trails.
Our accommodations include 40 overnight sites, either unserviced or with electrical (15/20/30-amp), water and sewage hook-up, plus 2 seasonal sites and trailer rentals. Guest amenities include flush toilets, showers, a pay phone, laundromat facilities, ice, a disposal station, fire grills, and wood. Camp activities include a boat launch, river swimming, a play area, a recreation lodge, fishing and hunting. Pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash.
