The Gerald Hardy Memorial Society is a non-profit organization providing jobs skills and work experience to adults with intellectual disabilities and mental health concerns. “It is the mission of the Gerald Hardy Memorial Society to assist adults in learning meaningful life skills.”

We offer Employment training and job support within the community. Referrals accepted within.

In May, 2011, the Society proudly opened its doors to their Thrift Store full of quality clothing for everyone in the family,  shoes, household items, books, CD’s, VHS tapes, cassette tapes, audio books, games.  We graciously accept donations.   Please phone us at 885-2300 prior to dropping off.

Food Bank day is the Wednesday following the 2nd Tuesday of each month 10am-3:30pm

LEA Place Women’s Resource Centre

LEA Place serves women and adolescent girls on the eastern part of the Eastern Shore, and the Musquodoboit Valley. Service may include:
